Every bear leaves at
The exact weight of someone loved.
— made for one family, to one number
The same bear, either way
One bear, made two ways
Weighted hearts inside
Soft hearts, filled and weighed by hand until the bear is their exact weight — to the ounce.
One sealed keepsake heart
A small sealed heart that holds a part of them, resting where a heart belongs.
Same bear. Same softness. Two ways to hold on — and they can be combined.
For child loss
Their exact weight, in your arms.
Tell us their weight — 6 lb 3 oz, 7 lb even, any number that is theirs — and we fill the bear with soft weighted hearts until the scale says exactly that. Not close. Exact.
Not sure? Start with a full hug — we can adjust before we make it.
For cremation
A bear that holds them, and holds you.
Inside the bear rests a small sealed keepsake heart that holds a part of them — filled gently at home with the kit we include, or by your funeral home. The bear stays soft, whole, and ready to be held.

In their words
Held — and it helped.
I didn't expect to cry holding it. But I did, and it helped — it has a weight, like he did.
It sits on the bed where she used to. The house feels a little less empty with something to hold.
We had it made to her birth weight. Some evenings I just hold it, and that's enough.
Gentle answers
Questions, answered softly.
How do I send in the ashes?
After checkout, we email a simple, gentle guide and a prepaid kit. You send a small portion — about a tablespoon — and we seal it into the bear's inner chamber by hand.
How much ash do you need?
Only a small portion. You keep the rest. Many families divide ashes across a few keepsakes.
What if I don't have the ashes yet?
That's okay. Order whenever you're ready and send ashes later — there's no time limit, and no pressure.
What is the bear made of?
Soft oatmeal plush with a sealed, secure inner chamber. Made to be held every day.
How long does it take?
Each bear is made to order, usually about 2–3 weeks. We'll keep you gently updated.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Many bears are gifts. We can ship directly, wrapped with care, with a handwritten note.
A note from us
We started weighted hearts for a simple, hard reason: when someone you love is gone, you're often left holding a jar. A cold thing on a shelf.
We wanted something you could actually hold. So we made a bear with weight — filled to feel like a real hug — that quietly keeps a loved one close.
Whatever brought you here, we're so sorry. Take your time. We'll be here, and a real person is always a message away.
— the weighted hearts team
Whenever you are ready
Made to one number, or made to hold them close.
Both bears are made one at a time, for one person. Begin with their weight, or begin with their heart — we will take care of the rest.
